Anyone refinsh their existing cabinets?
So we're looking to do a kitchen remodel this year but we aren't getting rid of our cabinets. they are original to the house and solid oak so we definitely want to keep them but we want to have them stripped and refinished to a lighter color.
anyone ever price something like this out? We're definitely not interested in making it a DIY - unfortunately neither of us are that handy.

I'm guessing a lot! We were quoted $700. just to strip and refinish one french door.
