Another Keurig post

We want to get one tomorrow - problem is I have no clue what machine to get? Which do you recommend?

When you buy a machine does it come with any K cups? If not, do the stores sell them or do I have to order online?

Mine is from BBB and came with a sampler of about 20 Kcups. I think it is the deluxe one with 3 possible sizes. LOVE IT!

I got the Platinum one, it makes iced coffee and then 4 sizes of hot coffee and you can control the temp. of the hot coffee.

It does come with samples. I like the extra bold flavors everything else taste watery to me.

If you are going to be using tap water you need to buy the filter for it other wise you are supposed to use bottled water. They do sell a plastic k-cup that you put in your own coffee and we have that too, but I am not crazy how the coffee tastes (I think because the water is filtered the coffee tastes different).

I was in BJs in Levittown over the weekend, and they have one that comes with like 80 K-Cups. BBB sells the machine and the K cups, and you can use the 20% off coupons- so you might get the best deal there.

We normally buy our K-Cups at BBB, but am now realizing that Amazon really has the best deal on them!

How do you change the the temp of the hot coffee?

We got it at Macys with leftover Wedding gift cards, but dh saw it at costco for about $40 cheaper and more k-cups.

We have the special edition..it doesn't do the iced coffee...our inlaws have that one and never use that feature. Ours came with i think about 20 sample k cups but I also bought the filter to use our own coffee bc DH loves his dunkin donuts coffee...He uses it both ways..he LOVES it! and I Love it as well bc I dont have to wash a coffee pot anymore!!

How do you change the the temp of the hot coffee?

Under the menu scroll down (keep hitting the menu button and it scrolls it down) and it has temp setting. Then hit buttons to the left and right of the menu for the temp. We have it set at 192 and its perfect ( I could actually use it a little hotter but DH can't).
