Re: Where to stay... Outer Banks
hi! my parents have a house down in the outer banks, so i'm pretty familiar with it., their house is on cape hatteras. Cape hatteras is a national seashore, so a lot of it is preserved and its not totally built up like a lot of beaches. there are still things to do though- mini golf, resaturants, movie theater, sailboat/jet ski rentals For more "action" and a little more "built up", you probably want to stay in Duck, Nags Head, Kitty hawk.. those areas seem to just have more "stuff" that would keep kids busy. there really raen't many hotels down there- its mostly rental houses. check out sun realty NC, hatteras realty, midgett realty, surf or sound realty----- they should all have search things on their sites so you can pick the type of house you're looking for and what town and it gives you a list with pictures to look at. let me know if you hvae any questions!

Thank you so much. I was feeling very overwhelmed because there seem to be so many options. I will look into what you have recommended. Thanks again!
