Not sure where this should go--question about car lease

So my lease is up in April and according to my contract if i wanted to buy my car I would have to pay $12,---. Does anyone know if this price is negotiable? Like if we walked in and offered $10k could we bargain with them?

I was told yes by the mercedes dealer I got my old suv from

They looked up what they were going for at auction and told me what to offer

But I decieded to get a new one for a few reasons

You need to wait till end of feb/march and call up the bank - you don't do it at the dealership

It depends on the bank. When DHs lease on his truck was up they took $3k off the buy out if he wanted it. If you want to buy the car out, it's def worth trying.
