Neutering my puppy
So Napoleon will be 1 in February. We have had him for 6 months already and havent gotten him fixed yet.
Do you know if getting it done this late is bad?

No, I don't think it's bad at all.. I think it's great that you are doing it! 
We neutered our puppy before he could develop mature habits like aggression, humping everything in sight, lifting his leg, marking his territory, etc. Since your dog is almost an adult, he may have already begun these behaviors, so he might still do them to a degree. HTH!

It only becomes a danger when it's much later in life. We had ours neutered at 18 months, he was fine. Good luck, and keep in mind that Petco sells the Comfy Cone which was a lifesaver when we had Brinkley fixed.

We are considering waiting as well. Dallas doesn't see other dogs so I'm not worried about him "corrupting" our neighbors dogs. I knew somebody who had a Boxer die of testicular cancer. Thats the main reason we'll do it.

I had my previous dog neutered when he was 8 years old. No problem.
