My dog won't go to the bathroom in the snow - help!

He won't go in the snow. I usually let him out in the backyard, but he won't even go near the door.
Yesterday morning I took him out in the front where we cleared the walkway and the driveway, and he peed there. We've done that with him again about 4 or 5 times yesterday and then again this morning, and he won't go!
This means he hasn't gone to the bathroom in 24hrs. What do I do??
I have him locked in the crate because I don't want him peeing or pooping in the house, but I feel awful.

I actually have to shovel my lawn so Lola will go.. I usually shovel more than I did this time and I can see she wants mre room to choose her spot.. Can you try to do that? Poor baby 24 hours is a long time that can cause UTI be careful ....

We cleared a spot on the lawn for our puppy to go. He went with no problem - thank goodness!

I tired to get Dallas to go on the pavement that was shoveled but he must have associated it with a floor and he knows he is not allowed to go on floors. When he went on the pavement he looked embarrassed and ashamed but I told him good boy!!

I shoveled off a path on the lawn for my dog to go on.. Did you try that? Shovel a spot on the lawn, not the pavement.. that will prob do the trick!
