Dishes in sink...

I have been slacking lately and i used to never ever leave the house with dishes in the sink... it would drive me crazy! Yet lately i have been super lazy and this morning i left the house with a few things in the sink and i am soooo mad at myself!!!

The funny thing is, i can never ever leave the house w/o the bed made! The other day i cleaned a new set of sheets, and while they were in the wash, i made the bed w/o the sheets, b/c i just could not handle the thought of my bed not being made!

Re: Dishes in sink...

this morning i just washed 3 days worth of dishes! i wanted to do it last night, but fell asleep early and was hoping that DH did it while i was sleeping. no such luck!

i leave dishes in the sink more often than not, unless i'm in the mood to do it right after dinner. i usually leave 1-2 days worth and that's ok!Chat Icon

Re: Dishes in sink...

I have to make my bed too, but if I'm washing sheets I'll put new ones on from the closet, not just put the cover on.

Just let the dishes go if you need to leave. It's okay! I just get irked when DH leaves a pot in there and won't clean it! Chat Icon

Re: Dishes in sink...

ha I'm the same way, I wish I didn't care so much but it makes me crazy too! Usually I can deal with leaving the house with something in the sink but going to sleep with a messy kitchen I can't deal with.
