MTHFR Girls Please Come IN
I looked at my RPL bloodwork results today and I have Annexin V IGM antibody (Antiphospholipid Antibody) and One Copy of MTHFR C677T. Had IUI on Sat and Dr. B has me on on Predisone and Baby Aspirin while I am in the 2WW. But if I have one copy MTHFR should I be on Folgard? Would I need LOVENOX when PG or have you been given LOVENOX during CD3/2ww?

I'm not much help with the antibody, but I am compound heterozygote for MTHFR. (I have the A & C mutations). I take lovenox once a day as well as aspirin and a bunch of other stuff....

I have two copies of C677T and only took extra folic acid while pregnant. I wasn't on anything else and had no issues.

Re: MTHFR Girls Please Come IN
Every Dr is different. Some would say-you have two clotting disorders. There is a LOT of research on APA and pregnancy not so much on MTHFR.
I bet you could go to Google scholar and find info on this to refer to when you speak to your Dr. I had homozygous MTHFR and was on lovenox throughout my pregnancy as well as BA and Metanx(same thing as Folgard) If you would feel more comfortable being on it, make your case and ask for it. I found when I brought up studies by name my Dr's pretty much did what I wanted.
