Whole chicken on the stovetop
I made this and I thought it was the juiciest chicken ever.
I removed the backbone with kitchen shears. Sprayed with pam spray and sprinkled herbs (I always do pepper, garlic, onion and rosemary powder with a sprinkle of paprika) on both sides. Put in non-stick pan on medium heat and put the bird in. Put the lid on and it came out in 40 minutes (total! I flipped it at 20 minutes). When I roast a chicken it takes 2 1/2 hours! The only difference between the two is no gravy on the stove top.
Will be adding this to the repetiore!
