HELP with beige color and my furniture
am i being too critical? my furniture looks orangey to me, and that's why i think it worked with the orange on the walls.
in the new house, i will, of course, have this furniture, and want beige walls. not to light, not too dark. right in the middle..
does anyone have a color rec for a beige that doesn't have an undertone that will not work with this furniture.

It looks like your furniture may be oak which has some orange in it. I think the color that you had painted your room made it look more orangey.
I would try different swatches on the wall and see what makes the furniture look warmer. Anything that has a brown undertone to it will work.

OH! that's what i want, brown undertone. how do i search online (BM?) for a beige with brown undertone? would Myperfectcolor dot com do it?

Sherwin Williams has a coloring program. You can click and drag sample colors onto a digital wall to see how they look. It's addicting.

I have never used my perfect color so I am not sure how it works.
What color family are you looking for? Willmington Tan (I think that is the name, if it's not I will have to find it for you) is a really pretty light golden color, not bright.
