First IUI...tomorrow!
Ok, while I am excited. I am also a little nervous. I just found out 30 mins ago, I am set for an IUI tomorrow. However, they want me to use my Ovidrel trigger tomorrow, but are only telling me that now. I DONT HAVE THE RX FILLED YET. This is my first time doing this and they told me to hold on to the rx for when I needed it, but didnt want me to fill it unnecessarily. I called the on-call nurse and while she seemed slightly concerned, at the same time, she said I should be fine tomorrow.
This scenario is also a little bittersweet for me...my father unexpectedly passed away a week ago tomorrow and needless to say, I am still adjusting to this change in life. I know he would have wanted me to stay on course with all my doctor's appts and procedures, but it felt weird still going to the doctors office during the week, in the middle of grieving his death. I hope that he is watching over me and will pass along some good luck this month, but again, everything has the potential to be extremely bittersweet. I dont know how I am going to handle everything.

First - I am SO SORRY about the loss of your father...
Second - good luck with your IUI!!! Try not to worry about the prescription. I have had to get stuff last minute and it's all worked out!

Thank you all for your thoughts regarding the loss of my father. I really hope that despite the shocking change within the last week, that my body is ready for a good fertility month.
I completed my IUI this morning and followed with the Ovidrel shot. Holy cow, cramping!! It hasnt been bad though.
