quick recipe help for dinner that's on the stove NOW!
I'm really not a cook but I attempted at making a meat sauce.
I put chopped meat in a pan and added sauce and cooking it now for a half hour. I'd like to add cheese. Can I add mozarella cheese to it while it's in the pan or will that destroy it? Or, should I ditch the cheese?
TIA!

it might just stick to the pan...I would add it at the very end - right before you are going to add the sauce to whatever you are making...(pasta?) Or add the cheese after you have plated the dish (the heat should melt it)

Thanks to both of you!!
I ended up LOVING the flavor of the sauce and didn't want to ruin it but did want cheese... so I mixed Parmesan cheese in with the spaghetti to make it like a 'cheesy pasta' before putting the meat sauce on.
It was actually pretty fantastic! DH LOVED IT!
