Hospital bill-
I KNOW I owe some money for my stay and spinal because of my deductible (well at least thats what my EOB says) Yet I still have got NOTHING from the hospital-
SHould I consider myself lucky? Or call them?

I can tell you that it's unlikely that they've overlooked it, so calling isn't going to jog their memory into billing you. I would rather know how much I owed than be surprised when I was planning on using that money for something else.

It seems so long to have not gotten a bill but I would call them to find out if you actually owe something. I would hate to get a bill when I'm not expecting it.

I wouldn't...
Hospitals are notorious for taking their time with the billing... I never pay a bill until I get an actual bill from the doctor...
take it from me. I used to be in hospital administration and dealt with stuff like this all the time...

I had a similar situation with a dr. recently. My EOB said that I owed a pretty penny and never got a bill. When I finally asked them because I was afraid of getting a big bill at a bad time they said that they took the money the insurance paid plus my copay and wrote off the rest. I used to work in medical billing, though not for a hospital-but we would write off some amounts often.
Hopefully it is something similar for you.
