crockpot question
I am having Hanukah at my house next week and am making brisket. I usually cook it in the oven but have a party that afternoon before my company comes over so was thinking of putting it in the crockpot instead so I can go to the party(its near my house) for a little while. Have you ever put brisket in the crockpot and if you did for how long? I usually cook in the oven for 3.5 to 4 hours and the ingredients are apricot preserves, steak sauce, ketchup, brown sugar and onion. Do you think this is something I put in the crockpot? Thanks in advance for your help.
