Broken Fridge :(
I think the compressor in my fridge went. Everything became room temperature and I don't hear it come on. Meanwhile, the fridge is only 2 years old......nice right?
In the meantime, while I wait for someone to call and schedule to come out........I have moved everything to our fridge in the garage.
But I totally forgot about one of the drawers in my freezer.....and in it are bags of frozen veggies. Peas, pepper strips, carrots, bag of cranberries. etc.
Do I have to throw these out? Or would it be safe if I put them all in the other freezer when I get home tonight???
THANKS!!!!!!!!!

Re: Broken Fridge :(
If it is still mostly frozen then I see no reason why you can't transfer it over. If it is defrosted, then make a big batch of soup!

No, it's definitely all defrosted! By now anyway...... :(
Thank you for the suggestion! I wouldn't have even thought to make soup! I guess I will have to do this b/c I'd hate to throw it all out.
Soup it is! Thanks guys!

OMG, I really have nightmares about this...I like to "stock" up when things are on sale and i am always paranoid this will happen - or a major blackout!
Sorry luckily it sounds like you could save some of it.
