I am serving a Haaaaaaam for Christmas Eve.
What's the most delicious one you've had or heard of and why.
Hayley.. you are exempt as a non-piggie eating peach.. but if you've heard urban legends about the Ham of Dreams.. tell me!

Oh I eat pig... just not a ham fan! 
But I'm voting for honeybaked - because if I did like ham, I think that's what I'd like!

I highly recommend Nigella Lawson's Coca Cola ham...its superb. A recipe from one ham eating Jew to another!!!
I made one last year and it was amazing, and super easy!

We buy a country ham every year from Cracker Barrel and bake it with Dr. Pepper....sounds weird but it's sooooooooooooooooo yummy!

My grandma bakes it with a cola glaze and serves with redeye gravy. My mom does a more traditional apricot glaze with pineapples and cherries. I don't eat a lot of ham but I enjoy it the most with a nice, smoky and savory flavor.

I love Honey Baked Ham. But I was tired of spending the money at the Honey Baked Ham store. Here is what I do.
I buy a sprial ham usually on sale. (I have used Smithfield, Cooks, even America's Choice)
Cook it for about a half hour.
then on the stove in a saucepan I put about 1/2 bottle of pure maple syrup
3/4 bottle honey
about a cup of brown sugar
let it all melt together. Pour all over ham so it gets in slices
Put bake in the oven for another 45 minutes or so til ham is heated through and there is a nice glaze on it.
I am telling you it's delicious!!!

The Corando Spiral Ham that you can get in the supermarket is really good. The glaze mix it comes with is incredible!
