I think I was 25 weeks. I can't remember. But it felt like period cramps. The first time I had them, they were really painful, and I got really scared, but the doctor said it was normal. Now I am having them up to 5 times a day. Sometimes they don't hurt at all, and my abdomen just tightens, other times, they feel like really bad period cramps. But they're usually gone in less than 30 seconds and happen at various hours of the day and night.

Thanks Rachel! That's pretty much exactly what they felt like (well a cross between period cramps and having to go to the bathroom RIGHT NOW!)
I think I might have had my first braxton hicks!
I don't know whether to be excited or freaked out

i think i was about 25-27w. my stomach would get very hard then relax ... then hard, then relax. it didn't hurt so much as it was just uncomfortable ... my dr told me to keep hydrated, so i've been trying more and haven't felt them much
