I'm so achey!
I don't know what is going on, if it's prego related or not, but I got up three times last night to use the bathroom and each time, I couldn't get up because all my joints hurt really bad. JT had to help me get up and I could barely walk. I feel like my hip sockets are grinding. Anyone else get this around 32, 33 weeks? I'm in so much pain today. I started to feel it the last few days in my legs, but now it's my whole body.

I have been that way too. It almost feels like you have the flu and nothing makes it feel better. It makes me VERY cranky

Re: I'm so achey!
It's pretty sad because I am looking at my newspaper down on the bottom of my steps (I live in a second floor apartment), and I can't even make it down to go get it I feel like an old lady.

Re: I'm so achey!
That is exactly how I feel too. I think it has something to do with being swollen, cause that is when it started to bother me.

Re: I'm so achey!
yup! The last few days were awfully achey - every move hurt. I was afraid I'd be like that for the rest of the pregnancy, but I'm feeling better today, so there's hope...
(eta: I'm not swollen, so its not related to that for me)

Re: I'm so achey!
I've been feeling achy since Friday night, and yesterday was almost horrible, but today I woke up feeling much better... except for my swollen feet. They're still fat, and hurt a lil. Makes me worried because I'm supposed to be going to a wedding tonight.. but what shoes am I gonna wear!?????

Re: I'm so achey!
Im 34 weeks and feeling that too. My hips and lower back are killing me. By the end of the day I cant even get up the stairs without the greatest effort. I have 2 small kids which doesnt help either since they have no comprehension of my limitations but I remember having this when I was pg with #1 too. The baby is just getting heavier and most of the times, further into the pelvis which is such a killer for walking. Hence the preggo waddle.

I've definitely graduated to the waddling stage of pregnancy!

i've been this way for almost 2 weeks. my legs are soo achey and my groin has so much pressure (sorry, tmi) it almost feels like i am paralyzed when i first stand b/c i dont think one leg will hold me when i go to take a step. i guess it's stretching ... or is hanging out on a nerve somewhere

Re: I'm so achey!
I get this when I get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and first thing in the morning. As I keep walking, it improves. I'm really making a conscious effort not to waddle, but it's getting hard.

Oh boy, the waddling, it's so hard NOT to when you feel like bending your legs is grinding your joints together. Everyone makes fun of me now!

Re: I'm so achey!
Not only did I have this, but I'm afraid it just continues straight through to the end b/c I'm at 37 weeks and it hasn't stopped yet. Just seems to get achier and achier.

Re: I'm so achey!
I'm just nervous because my school has no elevators and everything I have to do requires me to climb anywhere from 2 to 4 flights of stairs up to 15-20 times a day My classroom is on the first floor, but if I need the bathroom, which I do all the time, it's up three flight of stairs. The refrigerator for my lunch is on the fourth floor. My enrichment classroom is in the basement. I have recess duty which is down a flight of stairs and across a field about 1/4 mile away I'm just trying to hang in there for the rest of the school year, and this was an unexpected setback!
