I gave Julia (9 mths) egg whites for the first time last week and she didn't like them at all.

I think you are suppose to do the yolks first, they are less allergenic, the whites are highly allergenic (so meltodd, if Julia did well on the whites she should be clear of egg allergy). My son is about 8 1/2 months and we will try scrambled yolks this week!

My pediatrician said after we start yogurt, we can try egg yolks first, then egg whites. We just started the yogurt today, so I guess next week I *might* do the eggs. She's 8 mos. next week, by the way, but you know that.

I was waiting until a year. My MIL had a different idea though. at 6 months. After that, we waited.
Actually my MIL introduce my son to almost everything (eggs, strawberry, honey) before he was allowed to have it. By the time I had Maddie, she was so scared to feed her for fear of losing access, I would get phone calls asking if xyz was ok.
