LOL, sorry. It's been crazy. We happened to be the last appointment of the day so the vet was able to take some time and talk to us, which was nice. Jensen is a little underweight and that combined with the yellowish diarrhea led the vet to believe that he may have a parasite...so he is on some antibiotics at the moment. The vet said to give him boiled chicken and rice for a few days until things seem better. He also got the first round of bordatella (?) meds and needs to go back in two weeks for a couple of shots. We got him ear cleaner, a toothbrush kit (lol), heartworm meds and confirmed that he is not neutered (boo) so we will have to take care of that in the future. Otherwise everything else looks good.

Once again, thank you all for your advice and reassurance. I'm so thankful for this board!

Sounds like you're on track! It will be a little bit of a struggle for a while but it will all smooth out and the vet visits and worry will be less and less.

I won't laugh at you about the toothbrush - we brush Brinkley's teeth every day. He likes the vanilla flavored doggie toothpaste. All I know is, we probably won't ever need to spend a fortune on a dog dentist so we're fine with taking 30 seconds out of our day to brush them!
