yams in a can??
ok i never used yams in a can...if you do what do you make with them please share
I usually make sweet potato casserole so instead of peeling and baking yams do I just use this instead? I know they are in light syrup does this make a difference?

Yup you can use those....I usually just mash them real good with a fork and top with marshmallows!

I have always used them. Mash them, add butter, sugar, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves. Cook and the last 5 minutes put marshmallows on top.
Sooooooo sweet and yummy--

I mash them up, mix with brown sugar and pure maple syrup, and then for the last few minutes in the oven top with marshmallows.
