Startied injectables had first ultrasound with question
I have been taking 150 of gonal f for three days. I went in this am for an ultrasound and he said I had one lead follies and a lot of little ones. He said most likely come in tomorrow and take the HCG tomorrow. I am just confused, wouldnt CD7 be REALLY REALLY early to take the shot and do iui on CD8. I dont think they other follies had time to mature, what do you think? When did you guys ovulate on injectables.. thanls so much.

When I was taking bravelle I was given ovidrel to trigger my ovulation, but that was after a few sonograms to watch the follicle grow and multiply. IUI w/ injectables worked for me BFP, also expecting twins! I triggered at 8pm on day #13 and IUI on days 14 and 15.

I just spoke to the dr. he said that the main follicle was 16.5 and the rest were less that 10. he said that on CD 3 the follicle was already size 11... he says sometimes that happens. My E2: is 250.. I have to do another 150 tonight and go in tomorrow for bloodwork and ultrasound....

I had 3 mature follies and 6 smaller ones while on injectables (w/IUI). They coasted me for a few days and I ended up triggering on Day 14, IUI's on Day 16/17.

I think you are on the right path. I usually triggered on day 10 or 11 with injectables. My RE would wait until the lead follicle was at 19 or 20.
ETA: Given that a follice can grow 1 -1.5 in a day, you are in good shape.

Sometimes the dominant follicle can supress the other follies from growing (this is my issue), so if that lead follie looks good, then they will work with the one. Good Luck
