Re: Holy Crap...S'mores Brownies
I've made my own version of those...MUCH easier.
Box of brownies cooked to directions. 5 minutes before they are done, take 'em out and dump a bag of mini marshmallows on top. Put them back in oven and cook until golden. As soon as you take them out, press (hard) graham crackers onto the tops.
I use a 9 x 13 pan. These are such a hit.

Re: Holy Crap...S'mores Brownies
I'm thinking of bringing these for thanksgiving - they taste ok once they've cooled down? Also, when you cut them, do the graham crackers break messy or is it easy to cut?

Do you think the following shortcut would work? Get a pre-made graham cracker pie crust and put the brownie mix in that instead (almost as if making a brownie pie), and then add in the marshmallows on a few minutes at the end. Or do you think it would turn out weird?

Hi,
I tried this and they came out a MESS. I did exactly as you said. Its like you can't even find the brownies with all the gooey marshmellows and I cannot even lift it up to cut. What did I do wrong? LOL. I also found 5 mins wasn't enough to melt the marshmellows and then I didn't want to overcook the brownies so I had to take it out

Re: Holy Crap...S'mores Brownies
Hmmm - thanks for the feedback! Did you wait until they were completely cooled to try and cut and did you cut before that? I'm second guessing this now - they look so good but I don't want a huge mess on my hands!
