DH and baby shower
just wondering how many of your DH's were at your baby shower?
I wanted DH at mine but he said it was for the ladies only and hed feel out of place. LOL I am just going to have him pop in the last 45 min or so and say hello and thank everyone.
were most of your DHs at your shower ot most stayed home?

Well, my DH felt the same way, but had to show anyway - to say hi, and because he had to help with transfering all the gifts I received.

My DH stayed for a little while when he dropped me off and then came back early to help with putting the gifts in the car and help say good-bye to the guests.

Mine stayed for like 5 minutes then came at the end to help with the gifts. He wanted to get the heck outta there! Too much estrogen for him in the same room.

I had my DH AND my brothers AND my father at my bridal shower ( which everyone told me I couldnt do cause it was girls only)
Well.. thats what I wanted so thats what I did..
If you want DH at your shower have him! If your unsure then maybe plan on having him like the last hour or something?

My good friend & I drove my baby shower on our own (I already had the baby). The last 10 minutes or so, he showed up with a friend & also brought the real guest of honor (the baby). He & his friend loaded up the cars to take home gifts.

mine's not a traditional shower, its more of a cocktail party, and co-ed, so he'll be there as will a bunch of his/our friends.
For my bridal shower, he was there in the beginning, and then came back at the end.

We had a Jack and Jill Shower... The shower was very guy friendly... DH was against it at first but he ended up having a better time than I did!

I think he will come back the last 45 min to an hr before its over. That way he can say hello and thank everyone and then help load up the gifts!
I think it would have been fun to have him there the whole time but I can understand that he feels funny.
Hes off the hook since most of your Dh's werent there the whole time ;) LOL

my baby shower is co-ed so my DH will be there and so will other DH's.
The way i see it the shower should be for both of us since he has eveything to do with me being preggo JMO

My DH, FIL, brother and uncle were at my shower. But we had a lot of people who couldn't make it and we were under our minimum, so I asked them to come rather than waste the money.

My DH stayed the whole time. He helped me to open all of the gifts. I wouldn't say that he had a great time, but he was happy to be there.

hello there! sorry i haven't written ... been kinda hectic! hope everything is going well!!
my dh will be at the shower, but later on. he is in the military and has drill wknd. he'll be out about 430 and will come then, my dad too. what we ended up doing is inviting my uncles and guy cousins to come around that time, too, so we'll have an extended party

My DH dropped me off, said hello to everyone and left. We had another party that day do he went to the other party while I was at my shower. My father & uncle stayed in the bar area and then came in and took pictures while I was opening up gifts.

mine will prob not stay either....he feels "funny" at them.....and can't wait to get out of there....luckily I assume some of our out of state friends may come over and down so he'll hang out with their dh's or so's!
