help-not urinating

DS is 8 months and the past week he has been refusing his bottle, bites on the n..... and does not really want it. However he does drink his whole bottle at 12:30 am and sometimes 4 am also. I feed him cereal and add formula to it whenever I can I even add formula to his veg and fruit.

this mornig when we changed his diaper it was dry! he had the diaper on from 8 last night. Usually he is soaked and it is very heavy! I found it really strange...

he is teething really bad, his gums are bumpy and rock hard

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, it always happens to Alex when she's teething horribly. I think it just hurts too much in the day for her to drink from the bottle. At night they're usually more groggy so I don't think it affects them as much. She's in the thick of teething right now, and barely eats two bottles during the day! You can try to use a sippy cup, or try to wait it out... hopefully those little teeth will pop through soon! Chat Icon Chat Icon

With babies, it's NEVER tmi! Chat Icon Yup, she's urinating much less during the day. She's ok at night because she's drinking a lot more at night. If you're really worried, I would call your pediatrician and see what he/she recommends. We're ok with Alex when she's teething because though she only eats 1-2 bottles during the day, she makes up for it at night... not fun for mommy and daddy, but you know, little girls always set the rules Chat Icon
