2WW ????

Ok so I made it to my 2WW!! Yeah! keepin my fingers crossed! Dr wants me back next week to test progesterone levels...does anyone know why??? would that indicate whether or not I got pg or not?? Sorry but I am new to this whole thing and I really don't know much!! Appreciate all your help though and am praying for all you ladies.

No, it won't indicate whether or not you are pregnant. Progesterone is important in the beginning of a pregnancy as that is what sustains the pregnancy until the placenta takes over. They are checking to make sure that your progesterone levels are good enough to sustain a pregnancy should be/get pregnant. If they are low, they will start you on progesterone supplements.

Thank you! I am so infertility stupid when it comes to all this stuff. I was reading that they can actually give you progesterone to try to help you keep the pregnancy then if your levels seem low when they check??
