DMV - address changes

if you go to the DMV, do they issue a new license with your new address right then and there, or do they mail it to you?

i tried doing it through the mail last time and it took MONTHS!

They give you the temporary piece of paper and then mail you the license. It took less than 2 weeks to get it in the mail.

I don't think you have to go there..I just called and changed over the phone he asked me if I wanted a new one I think it was $20.

if you go in they will still mail you the new license but you should get it in about 2 weeks maybe 3 at the longest, (DH did this bc he wanted a new pict)

if you mail everything in you will get it in about 3 months (i did this bc i was lazy)

if you have the time to go it will be faster
