This is why you need to confess...
We were driving home from a birthday party this past weekend. The kids had balloons from the party. I explained that I would have to hold the balloons because it wasn't safe for Daddy to drive. Dh volunteers "That's right & we could get a ticket."
So Joseph chimes in with "You mean just like Grandma?" We looked at each other & said to him, "What do you mean?" He said "When Grandma was in her old house, we were driving & the police man stopped her." We said "What did the policeman say?" He said "That she should've stopped at the stop sign and she should be really, really careful because she was driving with me & Maddie."
I know that my MIL loves my kids as much as we do and would NEVER want any harm to come to them. I can't help but LMAO when I think that she was afraid to tell us for the past 2 years - never thinking she'd be ratted out by the 2 year old in the backseat!
