Tokyo
So I'm going to Tokyo for about 12 days with my husband. He's going for business and I'm just tagging along, so I'm going to be spending a great deal of time by myself with no idea what to do! Any recommendations on what to do during the day?? Thanks!

Re: Tokyo
I say just choose a neighborhood and spend the day wandering around, take an organised tour to help you get acquainted with this amazing and fantastic city, eat Kaiten Zushi and Pork Ton Katsu with an icy cold beer. Buy somethings from a vending machine, watch the people in Ueno Park.
Tons to do!!! Enjoy, color me jealous!!!

I totally agree. When are you going?
Tokyo is one of the BEST people watching cities in the world. So much action! Great food, shopping, ahhh... I want to go back!
(I will add that Osaka is my favorite city in Japan, so if you get adventurous, hop on a bullet train and check it out )

We're going mid-December.
Thanks so much for the suggestions. We're there over 2 weekends so I'm hoping to be able to travel outside Tokyo.
I'm so excited to go - I feel like I'm just going to spend my days eating! Haha.

Re: Tokyo
We did a lovely day trip to Mount Fuji and we also went to some hot springs in Hakone.
Go to Sanrio Puroland...the most bizarre theme park in the world...
