Got the ok to start IVF
Spoke to one of the nurses this morning and the doctor gave me the approval to start!!!
I'm really nervous for many reasons. I'm still not entirely positive of the rate of success for PCOS patients. Plus, I stupidly went back to the acupuncturist who said a second time it wouldn't work since i haven't been going for long enough which only upsets me more. This was my last appointment with him to say the least! I just don't want to stop going since my other dr won't be back for another few weeks. In the meantime, I'm seeing a new accupuncturist on Wed. She's the only other one in my network. I'm also nervous about the 2 weeks as opposed to 3 weeks on BCP. I'm sure the doctor wouldn't approve if he didn't think it would be possible to work but i'm still not sure why i needed an extra week. I just sent him an email so hopefully i'll hear back but in the meantime, i'll be there tomorrow for an apt with the social worker.

good luck.
i dont think you are not too late to start acupuncture, i started two weeks ago and am due to transfer this month. my acupuncturist said it was the perfect time to start.
sorry cant help with the BCP issue i didnt have to go on them.

I actually started going a little over a month ago about a week or so before my IUI (which failed).
The acupuncturist i was going to flat out told me it wouldn't work unless i waited a few months. That's why i won't be going to him anymore. I don't need the negative energy.

Good luck! The way I see it, everyone has their expertise and their opinion, but your inner voice sometimes knows best what direction you should take. Hope the new accupuncturist works out!
