When do you ovulate after the trigger?
I triggered Thursday 8pm... had an IUI Friday 10:30am and Saturday 8:30am, BD Saturday afternoon. Is that okay? I feel like everywhere I read you ovulated 36 hours after the shot which would make the Friday IUI a waste. I also haven't really felt anything and I expected to feel something since I had so many follicles.

i think its 24-48 hours after trigger but you want the sperm there waiting so i dont think it was a waste. good luck!!!

My RE's office likes to do it on the AM after the trigger. The thought is sperm survive for days.

Yes, my RE told me 36 hours after the trigger, but (since we are doing timed intercourse) told us to BD the night of the shot and then again 36 hours after the shot. I guess the idea is to have the sperm waiting and ready for the O!

Did they do a sono before the IUI? That would give you a good idea as to when you ovulated. I was told that usually you ovulate a little later with the trigger, so more like 36 hours after.

They usually do a sono but this time they didn't. Every time they did the sono, I hadn't ovulated yet (the morning after).
