Anyone do Atkins diet?
I was looking into trying this diet... anyone do it... if so, how was it? Did you lose weight? How did you feel?? How long did you do it for?.....

but honestly in the long run it's so unrealistic that you are not going to eat bread and pasta
the minute to start eating carbs again- you will gain the weight back

I think if you have a lot of weight to lose it can be a good "jump" start.
I know people who had a lot to lose and did it and had success.
It is hard to maintain though imo

I've done it...
I lost 50 pounds and have maintained it
I went from a size 14 to 4
I still do a modified low carb diet
I find it to be the most realistic way of eating for me since I am a big meat and veggie eater, and I do have a sensitivity to gluten

Same for me - lost and gained it all back. Not a livable lifestyle long term for me.
