Cramping, dilated and confused !
so - I went for an internal last evening and was 1 cm dilated - I've been this way for weeks now
but today I woke up and was very crampy - then I had gross mucous discharge with tinges of blood all day - it got worse as the day went on so doc said to go into labor and delivery
I am 2 cm dilated as of today - I am CRAMPY big time - it really hurt at the hospital - I also have had mucous discharge all day with tinges of blood but the blood may be a combo of the internal exam and/or just contractions and being dilated = but they sent me home for now 
I think I need labor vibes!
I am just wondering when the baby is coming b/c I'm feeling more pain than I have in the past when I had premature labor contractions

That's how I started
As the time passes they will get more intense. Once they hit 5 mins apart that is usually when your DR tells you to go to L&D unless your water breaks first then that is your ticket to the hospital no matter how far apart ur contractions are.

Sounds like the blood tinged mucus is you losing your mucus plug, totally normal.
Congrats that you're now 2cm dialated!!
As for the cramping, Ive been having a LOT of it too. Its normal - your pelvis and everything down "there" is stretching and separating to make room for the baby to come down.
Plus the baby could be lower and be pinching nerves and putting pressure on you.
Hang in there and if its too bad, take some Tylenol.
