When we have our floor installed, the guy that is doing it is the owner of the company.....should we tip him?

I would, IMO its manual labor and hard work, so that's why I would.
If he doesn't clean up and leaves your place amess or something like that I would say no then

Usually if the owner is doing the work himself, then you don't tip since he gets all the money anyway...however if he does a really nice job and you're happy, I'm sure he would appreciate a tip.
