Januvia?
Hey girls, I did a search on here and didn't find anything so I'm sorry if this is a repeat question... Has anyone ever been on Januvia? It's for diabetes/insulin resistance... I was wondering if it might help with my IF/PCOS... TIA

My dad's on it for diabetes. He was on metformin and some other medication- which is the equivalent of Januvia.
I have PCOS and am on Metformin (extended release)- but none of my dr's have ever mentioned Januvia in its place. HTH!

thank you so much for your reply
i was given this rx for mild diabetes.. not really for the pcos- but i was just wondering if it could help that as well since it also treats insulin resistance like metformin. i have to do some more research on it though because i dont know if it is like metformin or if it's totally different. sorry if i sound like a moron, i'm new to this.. haha

no to my knowledge it's a combination medication of metformin and something else.
