Hair Dryer

Please recommend your hair dryer with a lot of "power" that can dry hair quickly. I have a LOT of hair. It's curly and and I blow it straight.

I just bought the T3 Featherweight and hate it. IMO, it's no better than my cheap Conair one. Everyone here seem to rave about the Elchim... if you have one, is it powerful?

Re: Hair Dryer

I love the Elchim and it's super powerful.

I have shoulder length hair and it's very fine but is wavy. I blow it straight every day and it takes me no more than 5 minutes.

For someone with more hair and thicker I bet it cuts down your drying time as well.

Re: Hair Dryer

I have the Elchim and love it. It makes my hair straight and shiny while minimizing the frizz.

Why am I the only person who doesn't like their Elchim!? Chat Icon And it's not like i didn't give it a chance! I used that thing for 4 months daily. My Conair leaves my hair shinier and softer for some reason. And the Elchim definitely didn't shorten my drying time in anyway.

Re: Hair Dryer

I had the T3 and I HATED it. I felt like such an @ss b/c I asked for it for my birthday and then it sucked. I gave it to my sister.

I now have the Elchim and it is great!

I don't love the Elchim either. I was expecting it to work wonders after all the great reviews but it doesn't shorten my drying time at all and it tangles my hair up. I prefer my $20 conair with the brush attachment.

I have the Andis 1875 Tourmaline Ionic and I love it so far. The only problem I am having is not being able to find a diffuser to fit properly over the shaft. I don't always blow out my hair straight. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and a diffuser works best for me when I want to get it very curly/wavy.

Re: Hair Dryer

Based on all of your recs, I got the Elchim (btw two thumbs up for Folica.com which got me both hair dryers within a day with free shipping!) and I'm returning the T3. HUGE difference! The Elchim has much more power so if that's what you're looking for, I'd recommend it!
