Is there any food..
You used to complain/dread having when you lived with your parents that you make all the time now?
For me, my mom is Italian so I always complained that we ate macaroni/pasta too much...
Now I make macaroni/pasta 2x's a week...it's easy, filling, and yummy, and my DH loves i...plus there are so many ways to make it
My mom gets such a kick out this

Not quite the same, but when I was younger there were so many foods that I just refused to try! Now as an adult, I've tried them and love them!

I am with you on the pasta!!! Growing up we had it every friggin Sunday!!! I swore I wouldn't do that! Now I too make a pasta dish once a week. (DH is Irish and he loves Italian food!!!!)
But there are a lot of things I wouldn't eat as a kid and now I make.

Re: Is there any food..
potatoes...my dad is from Ireland and had to have potatoes with EVERY SINGLE MEAL. even if we had pizza or something, my mom would boil a potato for him. As a result I really really do not like potatoes. I make them pretty much every day though now because DH is from Ireland too and the potato obsession has followed me!!!!

Lima beans used to skeeve me, if it was in anything I would pick it out, now I do not mind them. I also did not like breaded veal cutlets, now I like them.

Re: Is there any food..
Eggs...in pre-school we went to the chicken hatchery and saw chickens hatching. That was the last day I ate eggs. Not even egg salad. I could eat them in mac/potatoe salad.
A few years after getting married I started eating boiled egg whites. About 2 years ago I started eating fried egg whites - very dry.
Now my DS (almost 2) likes eggs and i can't make an omlet to save my life. Most times I wind up having to throw the first batch out. I have decided to get the microwave omlet maker.
