Waterproof Pad for Crib
Did you get one for the baby's mattress, if so which one did you get?
TIA

Re: Waterproof Pad for Crib
I just got 3 "Ultimate crib sheets". They snap over the mattress and protect the mattress and any sheet you have in the crib. If it gets wet you just have to unsnap the UCS and snap on a new one without having to redo the entire bed.
Its not pretty, just plain white and it doesn't make for a beautiful crib decor but after you've had to remake the entire bed at 3 AM a few times, the UCS is a life (and sleep) saver!

We have some generic one. I just don't get why you need one if the mattress is plastic? Is it so you don't have to wipe the mattress down?

Re: Waterproof Pad for Crib
I have two waterproof pads and two sheets on the bed. It goes like this:
Topsheet mattress pad topsheet mattress pad mattress
This way if there is an accident in the night I just pull the top layer off and a layer is always underneath so I don't have to worry about re-making the bed in the middle of the night.
I plan on doing this when she is a toddler too in case of throw up incidents.
I have random-mattress pads, not a specific brand, I think one is carters and one is BBB -- whatever people gave me.

I wonder the same thing. I only have a mattress pad. Honestly, Alex has never leaked and soiled sheets.
