PB Montego Dining Room Table
Does anyone have this? We're considering buying the straight leg table in the espresso finish.
link to table
Would love to hear feedback on it (or any other PB furniture for quality/durability etc)
thanks!

Re: PB Montego Dining Room Table
I have that exact dining room table! LOL! PICS IN MY ALBUM
We love it! Obviously it collects dust easily in the espresso finish but all dark furniture does. I will warn you, it does mark up pretty easily. We don't have kids yet, no pets and have only eaten at our table 4 times and had one medium sized party and there is a small scratch now. If you're looking for a dining table from PB that hides marks and indents better, my in laws have the Benchwright table which has natural marks in it already. We were looking into that table first but couldn't fit it in our dining room.
On a side note, we have a ton of PB furniture all over our home; nightstands, buffets, dining set, entertainment set, etc and they are all built and made very well. But as far as marks, some of their pieces mark up very easily, some not at all. It really depends.
Hope that helps!

Re: PB Montego Dining Room Table
That's a beautiful table!
I don't have any PB furniture but I will say that I don't like legs on a DR table... I prefer the pedestal. Easier to fit people. I have a big family though so cramming people is important to me.
We don't have DR furniture yet but when we get a table I will have a glass top made for it. I don't know how much money it will cost but I don't care! I love to see the wood and it will be easier to protect/care for. So that's an option since Freckles mentioned it getting scratched up.

Re: PB Montego Dining Room Table
I have PB bedroom furniture (dressers). I think they are well made and I love them, but we do have a few nicks on the dark surface where the lighter wood peeks through. My DH is rough on things, though. His dresser is the one with the marks, my dresser looks fine.

Re: PB Montego Dining Room Table
My LR furniture is from PB and I love it but I agree with previous posters about it getting nicked up (but I also have a 2yr old who beats on it). It almost has a distressed look though and doesnt really bother me.

ooh, the table looks great in your album! thanks. Are those PB chairs too? We don't like the Montego chairs they have to go with it, but were thinking of getting the Aaron chairs instead (with the X back)
Thanks for the heads up about the finish/scratching. good to know.

Re: PB Montego Dining Room Table
I have this table in the mahagony stain and love it. We receive so many compliments on it. It's very sturdy and so far we have no scratches on it. We also got the Aaron upholstered chairs to go with it. I'll try and post pictures tonight.

No problem! Thanks!
Yeah, the chairs are PB too. We didn't like the Montego chairs either so we got the Harvest Chair. I like the Aaron chairs too, they're very nice.
