Monte Carlo in Las Vegas?

Anyone have any experience with the Monte Carlo?

We've gone to Vegas every year for the past 9 years and try to stay somewhere new each time. The Monte Carlo has an AWESOME special, but I don't know much about it. Seems to be a "forgotten" hotel!

TIA!

When are you planning on going? We were just in Vegas last week and Monte Carlo is on the same block as the new City Center which is due to open the first week of December. Right now that side of Las Vegas Blvd is closed off to pedestrians I guess until they're done with the construction and open up. So you'd have to cross the boulevard to walk up the strip if you want to.

Other than that, I know someone who stayed there a few years ago and said it was very nice.

Re: Monte Carlo in Las Vegas?

I felt the rooms were like a Sheraton.
Nothing fancy and no issues.
Parking is easy across the street in the outdoor Excalibur lot.
