When deciding on a ceiling fan...
Do you match the furniture in the room, or flooring? We're doing oak floors upstairs - my bedroom furniture is espresso/black so it's not quite as easy to find a ceiling fan I like. In the kid's rooms, Ryan has cherry furniture and I'm holding of on baby until I know the gender but obviously kid's furniture/nurseries don't last forever.

I think i'd be more inclined to match closer to the furniture.

I matched to my furniture. I happened to find one that matched my furniture pretty closely. I have a dark cherry wood.

All 3 of ours are existing from the previous owners are all white. I kinda like how they blend in with the ceiling.

We chose white so that they blended in with the ceiling. I am not a fan of how ceiling fans look and actually really don't even mind how the white ones look.
