Had my RE consult yesterday
So I met with Dr. Pena at East Coast Fertility yesterday. He was nice, and optimistic that I can and will get pg. If I am not pg this cycle (Im 9DPO) I have to go for an HSG then we are going to do Clomid with IUI for 3 months then onto IVF if needed.
When I was telling my DH, he asked me how I felt and had a hard time explaining that I feel: 1. Happy that there is finally a plan and that the RE felt that I could successfully get pg. 2. Anxious bc it seems like this is alot of work. I work far so I am afraid how all the dr appts are going to effect that. 3. Annoyed that I even have to be dealing with this. Why can't I be normal like so many other women? 4. Scared that it wont work.
Thanks for letting me vent, Kate

Re: Had my RE consult yesterday
Good luck with everything. I am a patient of Dr. Zapantis at East Coast Fertility and just started the IUI process. I am only on CD 7 and taking clomid. At some points it has gotten stressful. I keep trying to tell myself that the outcome will be so worth it.

Re: Had my RE consult yesterday
All normal feelings under the circumstances. It's also a great feeling of relief to be under the care of knowledgeable RE's! I see Dr. Zapantis at East Coast as well but Dr. Pena did a sono once for me and he seemed really nice.
Good luck on your journey.

I was feeling the same way, but there's a plan and a chance and you've got to hold on to that and have faith. Good Luck!!!
