My dog is in charge of my finances

A few weeks ago, pretty much right after I ordered a new box of checks, I found my chihuahua running around chewing the box they came in... five minutes later, in runs the hound mutt leaving behind a trail of check books. All the books of checks had giant teeth holes through them and most were just outright destroyed.

NOW, over the weekend I purchased tickets on fandango to go see Couples Retreat, and paid using my Chase debit/check card which I use for EVERYTHING. Five minutes later I come out into the living room and he ATE my debit card. Pieces of crumbled up plastic with a Visa logo on it are on the floor and the rest of the card with a jagged edge (and some numbers missing) was on the couch, he grabbed it from wherever I left it (I *may* have left it on the couch, ugh) and I'm like, BAD TIBERIUS and then I'm like, so *** am I supposed to do now about the tickets?

So I show up there with my printed out receipt, hand the lady what's left of the card, and she like, tries to swipe it through the machine EVEN THOUGH it's all jagged and missing half the strip, duh. After consulting with managers and whatnot I realize I remember the last 4 digits and she puts it in and it works. At least they got a laugh out of it. And I didn't spend any money this weekend after that so I think this is all a ploy to keep Mommy out of the poor house... he is REALLY lucky he's so cute.
