Feeling Sad....
It's been 1 week since my IUI and though I am trying to stay positive, I can't help but think that it was unsuccessful.... I'm just really sad today and nothing is lifting my spirits. I know that it can go either way & I might get a BFP but I am so scared if I find out thar I'm not pregnant. I want this so badly and I didn't think I would get this upset over the situation but I've really been in a funk...
Sorry but I just really had to get this out in the open.

You are so right. My mom today told me that my time will come when the right baby picks us as parents..... I found some confort in that

You can expect to run the gamut of emotions in the 2WW. You should try not to test for another few days. Seeing BFNs will do that to you. Hang in there

I'm sorry you are feeling down It's just a bad day but it will get better. Sometimes I think it's better to have no expectations...I think it helped me get through our failed IUIs.

i hate that this has to be so hard
hang in there...
i remember when i was TTC the first time around (it took us 9 months, plus one m/c before getting PG with DS) i had an emotional breakdown in my dr's office. she told me "one day you will hold your baby in your arms and realize that had you gotten PG any other month it would not be that exact child"
and you know what, whenever i get sad that we are having a hard time again i look at my DS and think of my Dr's words all over again. i really find so much comfort in that...
your mom is right--when it's meant to be, your time will come. (i know that sometimes that doesnt always make us feel better though... )

Don't worry, if it doesn't happen this month eventually it will happen. For some of us the road is just longer than others but we will all eventually reach the destination!

I just want to thank everyone for their words of encouragement and their kind thoughts. I am really glad I came onto this board and found such a strong, inspirational group of women.

Yes, very true! We all will reach our destination.
Some get there with no traffic and for us.......it's just bumper to bumper!
 But we do end up getting there!

It is totally normal for your emotions to be up and down right now...this morning I was at an appointment with my primary care dr. for something not even related to infertiltiy. He started asking me about how stressed I have been lately and I started tearing up! I felt like such an idiot!
Good luck and try to hang in there!
You will get there!!!!!
