6 ft. Hero-How many hours before eating?
The place I want to order my hero from has pick up at 11am and my party starts at 3pm. I am going to have appetizers first so we won't be eating the hero until after 4pm.
Is 5-6 hours too long to keep a hero out (and covered of course)?

The problem is the store is not open on that day and pick up is at 11am.

Can you cut it in half and store it in the fridge until you need it?

Unfortunately not as I only have one working fridge. I am making baked ziti and meatballs and will be doing salads and have soda's etc. in there.
