i have way more than that to lose but I do know that you have to be at least 5 lbs over your ideal weight to join WW.

Yes I've done it. I would buy the 10 week package. That way, you'll get to learn the program. Stay focused with the weekly weigh in and learn how to eat right and how to keep it off.
I suggest the 10 week because when you get down to the last 5 lbs, they are by far the hardest to lose.

Re: anyone do WW to lose 5-7lbs?
My mom did it for 10 lbs... and it basically just taught her portions and the "healthier" options to choose...
It also allows you to eat whatever you want in moderation, so it really doesn't feel as strict as a diet per say.
I've been doing it 4 months and I honestly haven't had that hard of a time with it.
Granted the weight is coming off slower now.. but I don't feel deprived of anything..

I did.
I lost 8pds. I didnt have too much to lose nor was it realistic for me to lose more than that or be able to go under.
I became a lifetime member...but fell off track and put on 3pds.
Actually, as of today, Im going back to WW.

If your not overweight to begin with I don't think they will take you. You may be able to follow the online program.
I think it's a great program and you will learn to eat the right way.

Not true. Just as long as you fall within the their healthy weight range and not fall below it, you are ok to join.

Re: anyone do WW to lose 5-7lbs?
no this means that the absolute lowest you can weigh to join is 114 lbs
To become life time you have to pick a weight within the healthy range and stay within 2 lbs of that weight
