Triggering morning of IUI?
i'm having my 3rd IUI cycle beginning tomorrow & was told to use Ovidril in the morning before IUI, i have the iui at 8:30am. The last 2 cycles I triggered the night before the 1st iui. I normally do 2 IUI in a cylce.
any idea why i would trigger the same day?
i'm thinking the dr is trying to switch things up b/c of the last few unsuccessful cycles, but it just seems so late to trigger. I normally only have one follie this cycle i have one on each ovary--24mm & 21mm maybe that's why.

If you are doing b2b IUIs then it shouldn't matter if you trigger the morning of. Maybe they think that you are firing quickly? You've got nothing to lose, especially if you are doing b2b, IMO.

If you are doing b2b IUIs then it shouldn't matter if you trigger the morning of. Maybe they think that you are firing quickly? You've got nothing to lose, especially if you are doing b2b, IMO.

I've done it both ways.
I ovulate later than 36 hrs after trigger. So, we stuck with earlier triggers.
My RE says that sperm live for quite a while: so it probably doesn't matter.
