SD has been asking for a puppy for a few months now. We went out and looked in the shelters for one and there were only older dogs. We researched a few breeders because DH and I both grew up with labs (DH with chocolate and myself with black) - We decided on Yellow. I found only a few breeders that will have puppies for Christmas and we are getting one!! Our little 'Winnie' is due to be born on or around October 29th Chat Icon
She is expected to be able to come home to us on the Tuesday before Christmas.
We currently have 3 cats who have NEVER been around a puppy or dog. All three of them are declawed and are indoor. One is 4, one is 3, and one is 1. How do we go about introducing them? SD won't see the puppy until Christmas morning as she lives with BM. I just don't want this puppy to make chew toys out of our kitties Christmas morning...
