Where did you stand after your first internal?
Just had mine this morning and was shocked when she told me I'm 1cm dialated and 50% effaced and the head is engaged. I wasn't expecting anything yet. Just wondering where everyone was at this point?

Re: Where did you stand after your first internal?
36 weeks - My first internal I was 2cm dialated and 60% effaced.
37 weeks - My 2nd internal I was 2cm dialated and 80% effaced.
38 weeks - I have my 3rd internal Monday so we'll see!
ETA: also as of 37 weeks, the baby's head is really low but still floating

Re: Where did you stand after your first internal?
I had my first internal the other day, I am 36 weeks. I am only a fingertip dilated and still thick (no thinning or effacement). This is my second child.
ETA: the baby is still very high up my doc said.

Re: Where did you stand after your first internal?
1st week - nothing. But baby in position and low
2nd week - nothing. Baby still in position and low but hiding behind pubic bone
3rd week - doc didn't do an internal because I had a sono for growth and he said he could tell that there was no change.
We'll see what happens next week.

Re: Where did you stand after your first internal?
At 40 weeks - I showed no progression or contractions - baby was nice and comfy - thus the reasoning to induce me 5 days after my due date - which happened to be a good experience for me.
But i know anything can change day to day - good luck to you - your almost there!
