Brazilian straightening

Hi..I usually post of Parenting, but I was wondering if anyone here has had Brazilian straightening done on their hair??

Were you happy with the results?

How long did it last?


I'm considering it, but I'm paranoid because I had Japanese straightening done on my hair a few years ago, and they fried my hair..I lost almost half of it So I def. don't want to repeat that...but I heard Brazilian is not as harsh.

Please tell me your experience. TIA!

everyone on here has had different experiences. i have had it done twice on my hair and i LOVE it!

as long as you wash your hair every 2-3 days with the special shampoo and conditioner, it should last you. the first time mine lasted almost 6 months. and even after 6 months it wasn't completely out. it just took a little longer to blow dry and the curls were getting tighter again. i've had it since July this time and have no complaints as of yet.

i really think it depends on your hair type and how you take care of it.
